High School Musical

On Sunday Lucca and I braved the fierce storm and drove to Sacramento to meet Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Melissa at Arco Arena. We had tickets to see High School Musical the Ice Tour. We have taken her to Disney on Ice the last 2 years and it has always been more Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Princesses, etc.) so we really didn't know what to expect from this one. It was surprisingly good, even though us adults had never seen High School Musical! Lucca was mesmerized by the skating and the music! All she could talk about before we got there was getting a special drink in a special cup like we did last year. So when we got there she picked out her icee in a light up High School Musical cup. After she was done with it, she proceeded to get up out of her seat and spend the remainder of the show dancing like a rock star to the music. Let me just add that she was the only one doing this, so the people around us were getting quite a show from our little entertainer! I think we may have a future star! After the show was over she told me how much she enjoyed it and that her favorite part was when Troy and Gabriela got back together. Now she is begging for the High School Musical movies and CDs. Uh-oh...what have we started!
