Easter 2010

We had a fun Easter! On Saturday, we went to Sacramento to see Grandpa Bruce, Grandma Melissa, and Grandmarty. We had a relaxing day of sports, egg dying, cupcake decorating, and a delicious ham dinner. In the morning, Lucca and Siena awoke to discover that the Easter Bunny had been there and left baskets for them. Luckily, he also beat the rain that was forecast and was able to hide eggs in the backyard. The hunt began early in the morning, with all sights set on the "Golden Egg." In the end, Lucca found it and was thrilled with the $10 bill inside! We had a nice breakfast, then headed to Paradise to have Easter and Grammie and Papa's house. Unfortunately, the rain began to fall. The Easter Bunny had to hide the eggs in the garage and house and he had to leave the baskets by the door instead of by the Easter Bunny hatch. Luckily, the kids didn't seem to mind! We had another delicious spread of food and lots of fun with family and friends. In spite of the rain, it was definitely a great Easter!
