Halloween 2010

We had a really fun Halloween! Lucca dressed up as a cat woman and Siena was a pink cat. Gabe and I got into the action this year too. We finally broke down and bought Halloween costumes instead of the beg, borrow, and steal of the past. We figured that we have to dress up for school each year so it would be good to get a costume box started! Gabe dressed up as a clown (and scared some of the students at his school and Holden!) and I was a witch.

We woke up on Halloween morning and finished carving our pumpkins while watching football. Grammie and Papa came by with treats for the girls, then we went downtown to Treat Street and the girls had fun trick or treating at the downtown stores.
After about an hour it got really crowded so we went over to Lita and Lito's house for a little while before heading over to the Harris house for Emerson's Halloween birthday party. The girls had lots of fun decorating pumpkin cookies, jumping in the bounce house, and playing in the amazingly decorated garage! At about 5:30 we headed out to go trick or treating. This year Siena really got into it! She learned how to say "trick or treat" and she insisted on carrying her candy bag all by herself, even though she kept tripping over it! Of course, the World Series was on during this time so the guys stayed at the house to watch it while we took the kids out. If it was any team other than the Giants it would have been unforgiveable! :)After about an hour of trick or treating we headed home, where Lucca and I went to a few houses in our neighborhood. Then Lucca had a blast answering the door for all of the trick or treaters until it was time for bed! Definitely a Halloween to remember!
