On Friday, October 22nd we took the girls to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm. I had the day off from school and Gabe took a personal day. I worked in Lucca's classroom in the morning, then took her out of school for the rest of the day. We were hoping to avoid the crowds by going on a weekday but unfortunately that wasn't the case! It was very crowded, yet we still had a great time!Last year Siena was too young to really enjoy the pumpkin patch so this was a fun year for her. She loved seeing all of the animals and petting them. She also really enjoyed the train ride and running around in the pumpkin patch with all of the big pumpkins. We went in the corn maze and had fun getting "lost." Lucca enjoyed panning for marbles and going down the big mountain slide. At the end of the day, we visited the bakery and bought some treats to enjoy on the ride back to Chico! Lucca had been talking about getting a popcorn ball since she remembered having one last year. They are quite large, yet she ate the entire thing on the way home! Better not tell her dentist! :) Even though we left without a pumpkin (we already have lots at home from our Apple Hill pumpkin patch visit) we had a great day at the pumpkin patch!
