The Beginning of 2012

As is usually the case with me, I have been so busy that I have been neglecting to update this blog! Then I start to panic as I realize what a daunting task it is going to be if I don't do it! I am on Spring Break this week so I figured there is no time like the present to catch up on life! I have been training for my first marathon since January and it is very time consuming. As if being a working mom weren't time consuming enough! My marathon is on April 22nd in San Luis Obispo so I am in the final phase of training and then once the race is over the pace of life should (hopefully) slow down a bit!

Just wanted to post pictures from the first three months of 2012. Highlights have been celebrating Grandmarty's 92nd Birthday in January, Grandma Julie's 85th Birthday in February, our trip to Disneyland in February (separate blog) and Siena's 3rd Birthday (separate blog). Lucca is loving second grade and continues to be at the top of her class. I am enjoying being her teacher and am so grateful to have had the opportunity! I am also thrilled that she is up at my school, as she is getting Spanish once a week, Art twice a week, Music twice a week, and an hour of Science a week in the Science Lab. These are things that she would not be getting in a public school. Siena loves going to Katrina's Day Care & Preschool on Thursday and Fridays and spending time with Lita and Nana Pam on the other three days.
