Disneyland

We took a family trip to Disneyland at the end of February. We drove down to Anaheim on Saturday, February 18th. It was a looong drive! We checked in to our hotel then walked to Downtown Disney. It was a fun way to get into the spirit of Disneyland! We had a wonderful meal at the Jazz Restaurant, which was Cajun style. Then we walked back to our hotel room and went to sleep early so that we could wake up early the next day. We had one Magic Morning entrance with our tickets so we took advantage of it on our first day in the park. We got in at 7:00 a.m., and hour before the park opened to the public. It was great! We went straight to the Nemo ride and got right on and then we were able to ride about 5 more rides before 8:00! Lucca had our class mascot, Nemo, with her the whole time since she was the Sea Star Student in class so she enjoyed taking him around Disneyland and posing for pictures.

We spent three days in the park and we had tons of fun! Siena developed a huge interest in Ariel while we were there and she was thrilled to meet her two times! We also met Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Princess Tiana, Princess Belle, Princess Jasmine and Aladdin. We rode all of our favorite rides many times! On Monday evening, Lito, Lita, Aunt Jan, Kaysen, Untie Rya, Matias, and Theo drove up from San Diego. We met them in Downtown Disney for dinner at a Mexican Food restaurant. They joined us the next day (our last day) at Disneyland. It was so much fun to share in the Disney excitement with cousins!!

The Fireworks show at Disneyland was incredible and we made sure to watch it on Sunday and Monday nights. They didn't have it on Tuesday night or else we would have watched it a 3rd time. There was also a really neat show called World of Color at California Adventure that we watched on Sunday night, but we had to sit in the back so we didn't see as much of it as we would have liked.

We drove back home on Wednesday. It was a GREAT trip!!
