Here is an example of our little master of creativity's latest project. Lucca decided that she wanted to have hopskotch in her room so she got paper, scissors, masking tape, and markers and set to work. You can't see that well, but she wrote the numbers 1-10 on each piece of paper and then taped them to her carpet where she now does hopskotch.

Fort Fun
So I finally jumped on the fort bandwagon after reading on Keri and Kimberly's blogs about all of the fun that Adi and Rilyn have had in their forts. Yesterday was a perfect fort day. It was a lazy, rainy Sunday and Lucca was definitely getting restless. Luckily Gabe was home to assist in the fort building because he is much more proficient than I am. Lucca loved seeing her room transformed into a special hideout and she brought in several "friends", pillows, blankets, and toys. She spent hours playing in the fort! The only problem we are having now is getting her to let us take it down. It is still up today and it is really hard to get anything from her room. I think we will let her have one more day of fun before we ta
ke it down until the next fort day!
