Siena is two months old already! Actually, to be exact, she is 2 months and 1 week! Where does the time go? She is now smiling and beginning to "talk" to us with an adorable cooing sound. It absolutely melts my heart to hear. Her last doctor's appointment was on May 11th and she weighed 11 lbs. 4 oz. and is now 22 3/4 inches! She is in the 75-90% for both height and weight. She is still a very good baby. She has her fussy times every now and then and it is usually always between the hours of 7:00-8:00 p.m. I guess that is why they call it the bewitching hour. We are trying to squeeze in as much tummy time as we can, but she begins to protest after about 2 or 3 minutes. Here is a picture of her on her changing table getting in some tummy time. She can really lift herself up now!
Here they are in the fort Lucca constructed using the couch pillows, place mats, and dish towels.
Behind her on the changing table is her new favorite toy. She loves her little mirror and it is so cute to watch her smile and interact with the baby in the mirror. She can be in a fussy mood and all it takes is laying her on her changing table and voila! Happy girl!
Lucca is still enjoying being my little helper. She likes to do the same things with her dolls that I am doing with Siena. Her dolls get frequent diaper changes, naps, and rides in the Baby Bjorn. Here is Lucca with her dolls on the Boppy pillow.
And here is Lucca with her real life "doll," Siena. She really is a great big sister!
