4 Months Old

I can't even believe that Siena is now 4 months old! Our baby is growing up so fast! She is already 1/3 of the way through her first year! This last month has been filled with milestones and tremendous growth. She is now rolling over both ways and is completely past the point of being able to stay in one spot. Now when we put her down on her floor play gym we can expect to find her in a completely different spot than where she was placed after about 5 minutes! When we put her on her back, she rolls over to her tummy almost immediately, then gets frustrated because she doesn't like to be on her tummy. Finally frustration turns to determination and she rolls back to her back. This cycle will repeat itself until she has rolled several feet across the floor. When she is on her tummy she is getting her legs and arms moving and she looks like she is almost ready to crawl! Huge difference from Lucca, who didn't crawl until she was almost 1! Siena loves her Rainforest floor gym, her changing table mirror, playing with her butterfly toy in her cradle, and just recently she has begun to enjoy her new exersaucer! She also loves to watch her sister and every now and then she delights us with a laugh! More than anything she loves to cuddle and be held. She is still a great eater and a good sleeper. She is still waking up once a night, around 2:00 a.m., but once she gets a snack she falls right back to sleep. No complaints from us! I am sure that once she starts on solids in a couple months she will begin to sleep all the way through the night!

Here is an example of her moving...she was placed in the center of the floor gym!

We love this onesie..unfortunately it is almost too small!

Playing in her new exersaucer

Sitting in the Bumbo chair

Siena's new favorite sleeping position...on her tummy. She rolls over on to her tummy all the time now and I have given up trying to put her back on her back! Notice the bald spot on the back of her head!

Tummy Time!

Here is a series of pictures showing her rolling over from back to tummy....

I can't believe how fast our babies are growing! It's going by way too fast! It was so good to see and hold Siena the other day. She's so stinkin' cute and cuddly. She's getting so big too! Quite the little mover - I think you are going to have an early crawler!
