We just returned from our third and final vacation. We took a trip with Nana and Grandpa to Fort Bragg. Lucca went over with them by herself on Sunday and we joined them on Monday. It was an amazing trip! The weather was absolutely perfect...65-70 degrees, no fog, light ocean breeze. We couldn't have asked for better beach weather! We spent our days relaxing on the deck that overlooks the ocean, shopping in Mendocino, exploring the beach, and wine tasting in the Anderson Valley, which is only about 45 minutes away. Gabe and I also went to a beautiful winery 12 miles north of Fort Bragg called Pacific Star that has wonderful wines and an amazing view. It sits right on the ocean! While we were wine tasting, Lucca had a blast collecting and painting sea shells with Nana and Grandpa. Gabe and I celebrated our anniversary over there and enjoyed a wonderful meal at The Little River Inn. Delicious food and gorgeous ocean views!We headed home on Friday and were just commenting on how it seems Lucca has gotten past her car sickness on windy roads when she proceeded to throw up all over the back seat as we were driving into Willits! Since we had just had breakfast before we left, she had a pretty full tummy so you can imagine the mess! We pulled over and did our best to clean her and it up, meanwhile cursing ourselves for jinxing it! We are usually always prepared with towels and a barf bag but it has been about 1 1/2 years since she has gotten sick in the car so we figured we were fine. Of course, she was fine on the way over with Nana and Grandpa. Apparently, she saved it for us!
The other highlight of the trip was that our camera, which we have had since before Lucca was born, dropped and broke. I have been wanting a new camera for awhile now but Gabe insisted that our 5 pound camera was still fine. So sadly, we were forced to get a new camera. It turned out to be Gabe's birthday present from Mike and Pam! We had a blast discovering all that it could do and taking beautiful shots of the ocean. I have included some of my favorites for your viewing pleasure!

Yay Fort Bragg! My home away from home! Don't you love it over there. Just hate the drive - poor, poor Lucca!! Adi has thrown up on that road a couple of times but lately she has done well - oops, hope I didn't jinx it either!! Glad you guys had a good time and that you went to The Little River Inn! I thought you might like it! :)
