We celebrated my mom's 60th Birthday in style with a Girls Trip to Calistoga! Lucca got to join the big girls while Siena stayed home with Daddy. We drove over to Calistoga on Saturday and met Stacy, Jenny, and Allie. The birthday girl went and had a spa treatment while the rest of us went to taste wine at Summer's. Then we met back up in the cute little courtyard of our hotel for champagne and appetizers before walking over to the Flatiron Grill for an amazing dinner! Jenny brought a wonderful, scrumptious cake from All About Bundts that we enjoyed at the restaurant. After dinner we all went into the huge spa and heated pool and enjoyed night swimming!The next day we had breakfast in Calistoga then we drove to Sterling Vineyards, where we said goodbye to Stacy and hello to Suzanne, who met us there. We rode the Gondola up to the winery and did the self-guided tour. We were so fortunate to have fabulous weather and gorgeous views of Napa Valley! We enjoyed the sun out on the deck for awhile, then said goodbye to Jenny & Allie. Suzanne, Lucca, my mom, and I went to a few different wineries and ate lunch at V. Sattui before heading back to Calistoga. We enjoyed Suzanne's industry benefits of complimentary tastings, otherwise we would have spent a fortune! I can't believe how expensive it has gotten to taste wine in Napa Valley!
When we got back to Calistoga, Gigi and Grandpa Don had arrived. We had appetizers and wine with them at the hotel and visited before walking over to a little Mexican restaurant for dinner. Then we went back to the hotel for more pool and spa fun!
The next day we reluctantly said goodbye and headed back home. It was a memorable weekend!
