Siena's 2nd Birthday

I cannot even believe that it has now been 2 years since we were blessed with our sweet little Siena. Gabe and I both took the day off the celebrate Siena's birthday with her. It was a VERY stormy day so our plans of taking her to the park went out the window! We dropped Lucca off at school then took Siena out to breakfast at Mom's. After breakfast we took her to Toys 'r' Us and enrolled her in the birthday club. She got a special crown to wear in the store and a balloon. Thye also made a special announcement over the store intercom that it was her birthday. She had fun roaming the aisles and looking at toys, then riding the Bert and Ernie car. Next we went to Target and bought her a brand new Princess Potty! She was so excited and immediately sat on it when it came out of the box! Later that day she even surprised and delighted us by going pee pee on the potty for the first time! Such a big girl! When Lucca got home from school we opened presents then we got take out from the Raw Bar (yummy Edamame and noodles for Siena!). We also had special birthday cupcakes from Tin Roof Bakery.
We celebrated with a Dora themed Fiesta 2 days later with friends and family. We had yummy Mexican food appetizers, Emeril's chocolate brownie cupcakes, and a special personal size Dora cake that Nana Pam made especially for the birthday girl! Siena had a blast playing with her friends, opening presents, and going outside to ride on her new Barbie quad from Grammie and Papa. Thank goodness we got a break from the rain by the time her party started-it had been pouring all morning!

The next day we had a small birthday celebration at Lito and Lita's house with Grandpa Ray and Grandma Pat. Lito hid clues that led the girls on a treasure hunt to Siena's gifts. Lucca read the clues then both girls went on a hunt for the next one. They ended up to be in the closet. Siena was more excited to discover Liza hiding in the closet than the presents! :) We had a delicious lunch and a nice visit to end her birthday weekend!
