Updates and Random Pictures

2011 has flown by so far! It is hard to believe we are already 1/4 of the way through the year! Lucca is still excelling in 1st grade and she is in second grade reading and math groups. We are thrilled about her academic success but we are a little worried about next year since she will be a 2nd grader in a 1/2 combo class. We don't want her to just repeat what she has done this year. So we shall see! She is doing a Ballet/Tap class at Hype Dance Studio and gearing up for the big performance in June.

Siena started gymnastics in February with Luciana and has been really enjoying it! It is a parent/tot class and Lucca goes out there with us and basically shows Siena how to do everything and helps her. It is really cute. Siena LOVES to jump and spends a lot of time on her new trampoline that she got for her birthday from Grandpa Bruce and Grandma Lissa. She also started swim lessons but they aren't going too well. She screams when she has to go in the pool. I have been having to go in with her and even then she is not happy. Hopefully it will get better as she gets more used to it.

The girls still love to be around each other. Lucca is like a little mom to Siena and Siena just wants to do whatever Lucca is doing. They love to dance in Lucca's room to Taylor Swift, read books together, play chase, and play outside. Siena also loves to crawl up into Lucca's chair at the table and eat with her. It is so sweet to see the two of them interact and love each other so much!
