Today was Lucca's Christmas ballet recital. It was very cute! Luckily, her performance was the 2nd one so we were able to leave right afterwards. This was good, because it had started snowing in Paradise and Forest Ranch, so Grammie, Papa, Nana Pam, and Grandpa had to get home! Here is a picture of Lucca in front of the Christmas tree at the recital, and one with her and one of her friends from preschool and ballet.
After the recital, we went home and did some holiday baking. I made my fudge sauce, fudge, and toffee. Lucca and Gabe made sugar cookies. She was a little disapointed that we had to wait for 2 hours for the dough to refrigerate and then another hour for them to cook and cool before we were able to decorate them, but it was defintely worth the wait. We had red, green, and white frosting and Christmas sprinkles! Yummy!

So cute Emily, Lucca is getting so grown up! We can't wait to see you next week. It looks like you all had a fun time baking, we will be spending Sunday baking and Rilyn is going to be our little helper this year.
