Nutcracker

Today my mom and I took Lucca to see the Nutcracker ballet. She enjoyed getting to wear her fancy dress and having me curl her hair. She loved all of the costumes and had a ball dancing like the ballerinas in the aisle until I had to pull her aside and explain to her that we had to stay in our seats so we wouldn't bother the other people in the audience. She didn't like that very much! Her mood changed once it was over and we discovered Santa Claus riding his bike through downtown Chico handing out candy canes!

We are anxiously awaiting the storm that is supposed to be coming and hoping for snow on the valley floor (or at least at Grammie's house and Nana Pam and Grandpa's house!). It sure is cold outside, but still clear (darn!). I am really hoping for a white Christmas!
