Easter

We had a whirlwind Easter weekend! On Saturday we took the girls, along with Nana and Grandpa, to Capre Acres for an Egg Hunt. We were a bit surprised at the turnout. There were at least 500 people in line when we got there! Luckily, we found Helena so Lucca was occupied while we waited. Once we got in, Lucca was a bit surprised because the eggs weren't really hidden. They were pretty much just laying all over the ground. It didn't take her long to get busy, though, and fill up her basket. Here she is after the hunt waiting to turn in her eggs for a prize. That night, we went over to Lito and Lita's house for another egg hunt and dinner. After dinner, Lucca and Lita dyed eggs.

The next morning, Lucca woke up at 7:00 to discover that the Easter Bunny had come to our house! He left baskets for Lucca and Siena and hid tons of eggs in the backyard. Lucca is an excellent hunter so it didn't take long for her to find all of them! We were already done with the baskets and the hunt by 7:30 a.m.! Gotta love kids! In the afternoon, we went up to Grammie and Papa's house for yet another egg hunt and Easter dinner. The Easter Bunny left baskets at his Easter Bunny door in their tree. Here we are posing by it.Stacy and Katherine drove up for Easter. Lucca had a blast with Katherine and probably wore her out! Thanks, Katherine, for entertaining her!

And here is Katherine with Siena, who seemed to enjoy her first Easter very much! She spent most of it sleeping!
