Loni & JJ's Wedding

After a year-long engagement that seemed to fly by, my beautiful friend Loni married the man of her dreams on July 16th. I had the honor of being a bridesmaid. Loni and JJ are such a wonderful couple and I am so excited that they found each other and have chosen to live their lives together.

The wedding festivities began the weekend before with Loni-s Bachelorette Weekend in Calistoga. 10 of us girls went and stayed for 2 nights at Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs. We got spa treatments and lounged by the pool on Friday, followed by dinner out at a fun Mexican Restaurant with a live Mariachi band. The next day we went wine tasting. We went to amazing place called Castello di Amarosa and got the royal treatment by Jim, the VP. He took us on a private tour, barrel tasting, and then a private sit-down tasting in the VIP room. What an experience! Next we got lunch then ate it out on the patio while we tasted wine at Franciscan. We ended with a tram ride and tasting at Sterling. Then back to the hotel to freshen up before a wonderful outdoor dinner at the Calistoga Inn. After dinner we went out on the town!
The wedding weekend was perfect. The weather was amazing for Chico in July! So nice and cool! We had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner at Broadway Heights on Friday Night, then the wedding was the next day at TJ Farms. It was a beautiful location! We went downtown to get ready at the Diamond Hotel where Loni and JJ had a suite then out to TJ Farms for pictures and the wedding. After the wedding we took a trolley back to the hotel and we had an after-party in the wine cellar downstairs. So much fun! Lucca and Siena spent the night with Nana and Grandpa so Gabe and I really enjoyed having adult time!
