Spring/Summer Updates

The end of spring and the school year went by so quickly! We had crazy weather which didn't really make it seem like it was about to be summer vacation. Lucca ended her 2nd grade year with a bang and at the top of her class academically. Her class had a Community Helpers Musical that was very cute.

In the beginning of May I did a fun 5K run called the Diva Dash with Naomi, Shawna, and Patty. It ended up being a PR for me, which I was excited about! I ran it in 24:07. Now I just need to break the 24 minute mark! After the run we walked downtown and ate breakfast at Mom's. Very fun day!

I celebrated birthday #33 in May. I took my class on a field trip to Table Mountain during the day (very beautiful and fun) then Gabe and I went out to the Raw Bar for dinner and Monks for a nightcap. Later in the week I celebrated with the girls. We had dinner and drinks at Tres Hombres.
I went to my first Giants game at the end of May with my dad. It was my Christmas gift to him. We went to see the Giants play the A's. It was a very exciting game which went into extra innings but ultimately resulted in a Giants victory! It was also a special game because it was one of the last games that Buster Posey played before he broke his ankle. Glad we got to see him play! The girls stayed in Sacramento to spend the day with Grandma Lissa which was very fun for them.
Lucca finally lost her first tooth 2 days after her 7th birthday! She was so excited! She is the last person in her class to lose a tooth and it has been bugging her! She wrote a letter to the tooth fairy and put her tooth in a special tooth shaped box in her Kitty Tooth Fairy holder. She was thrilled to discover $5 and fairy dust the next morning!
Here are some cute pictures of the girls. They are still each other's best friend! Although Lucca sometimes gets frustrated with Siena getting into her stuff she is still very protective of her and she loves her so much! Siena worships the ground Lucca walks on. They are the cutest sisters!
