Our annual trip to
Sunriver took place in the middle of June this year. Much earlier than last year. This was good because we didn't have to worry about the mosquitoes but it was pretty cool. There was definitely no chance of swimming this year! I loved the nice weather and the fact that there were not very many people vacationing yet. I got in some great runs and kayaking.
We did our usual activities...eat, drink wine, shop at the Nike outlet and in downtown Bend, run, kayak, walk, bike, and relax. New to the agenda this year was the presents that were given almost every night to the kids.
Lito and Lita brought them some adorable Indian headdresses from New Mexico and these were presented with a fascinating story by
Lito. The next night they all got flashlights and another night they got squishy spiders. Very fun!
Here is the wine that Bob brought up for us to drink during the week! It cracked me up!! We actually ended up putting a pretty good dent in it! :)
