Grandpa Don's 80th Birthday Celebration

During the last weekend of October we had the honor of celebrating Grandpa Don's 80th Birthday. It was so much fun to see so many members of our family together for such a special occasion. We drove down to the Bay on Friday night and stayed in the Marriott's Residence Inn. The girls loved to run up and down the stairs in the hotel room and explore!

The party took place on Saturday at their home. It was a beautiful event with wonderful catered food and lots of good conversation. We all chipped in the get Grandpa a new set of golf clubs for a special birthday present. Lucca and Siena had a blast playing with their cousins, especially in their little room underneath the house! On Sunday we went back over for a little while before we drove back home to see Doug, who had been unable to make it until that morning. We had a nice champagne toast to Grandpa! It was a wonderful weekend!
