Thanksgiving

We were fortunate enough to have TWO Thanksgiving dinners this year! On Tuesday we celebrated Thanksgiving with Nana, Grandpa, Grammie, Papa, Lance and Angela up in Forest Ranch. Poor Grandpa ended up getting really sick that day so he was up in bed almost the whole time we were there. He did come down while we sat down to eat. It was a delicious meal! We also got to open up a bottle of 1989 BV Cabernet that Nana and Grandpa had at their house. Nobody knew quite what to expect but it turned out to be very good!

On Thanksgiving Day we did the Run for Food and this year Lucca was an official participant, complete with a shirt, bib, and chip! She and Gabe ran it together and she finished in just over 38 minutes! I am so proud of her! I ran by myself and Grammie walked with Siena in the stroller. The weather was wet and rainy when we woke up but thankfully it stopped raining for the run.

After the run we went up to the hospital to meet Baby Sophia!! Heather's water broke the night before and she was born early Thanksgiving morning! She is adorable and we are so excited to have her in the family. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so pics of my adorable little niece will have to come later.

We drove to Jan and Bob's in the afternoon and had Thanksgiving dinner there with Tristan, Ginny, Kaysen, Grandma Julie, Lita, Lito, Auntie Rya, Uncle Blair, Matias, Theo, Lance, Angela, and Uncle Bob's sister. We had a wonderful afternoon and yet another delicious dinner! After dinner Ginny, Angela, Myriah and I played a really fun game called Balderdash while everyone else watched football. We all had a fantastic time!
